A 17-year old and also Tepa Fountain Of Life Old Student Rose Amoaniamaa Yeboah, a High Jumper has won Ghana’s first medal at the ongoing Afrcan Games in Rabat, Morocco.

The 17-year old sensation outshone ten other competitors in the finals at the Moulay Abdella Sports Complex on Tuesday, where she made a jump 1.84 to claim the landmark gold medal. The youngster’s gold medal leaves team Ghana really relieved and filled with joy as the athletes have only managed four (4) bronze medals so far in the competition.

Morocco’s Siba Rhizlane came second with a jump of 1.81 followed by Ethiopia’s Dibow Ariyat Ubang who also manged 1.81 to finish third.
