The founder and leader of Anointed Palace Chapel, Reverend Francis Antwi aka Rev. Obofour has responded to the Accra Regional Police Command’s invitation.
On Thursday, 31st October 2019, the Accra Regional Police Command extended an invitation to Rev Obofour to assist with investigations as to why he allowed someone to smoke an illegal substance in public.
In Rev Obofour’s statement to the Police after his arrest stated he didn’t know what ensued between him and the alleged wee smoker because he was in the spiritual realm.

According to Rev. Obofour, he was possessed by the Holy Spirit and it was the Holy Spirit who ordered the young man to smoke the wee during the deliverance service and not him.
The drama happened after Rev Obofour was invited to the church of another popular Ghanaian preacher, Abruku Abruka for a three-day church programme.
During the service, Rev. Obofour asked if anyone in the Church auditorium had marijuana [wee].
A man identified as Razak owned up with a small box containing one roll of wee and Rev Obofour asked him to light it up to confirm if it was truly marijuana so he could deliver him from the smoking habit and he complied.
Meanwhile, the young man who was ordered to smoke the weed is now claiming he was hired by Rev.Obofour prior to the church programme to appear in the church with weed and follow all the instructions Obofour will give him for a fee.
