The Member of the Seventh Parliament of the Fourth Republic of Ghana representing the Bosomtwe Constituency in the Ashanti Region on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party have lightened up his constituency. This happened on Sunday 31st May 2020 at his constituency where he presented each electoral area with fifty (50) bulbs and six (6) LED street lights.
Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum who doubles as the Deputy Minister for Education said in an Interview with Ghanaian Blogger BoatengAmeyaw1 during the presentation that the bulbs were secured through the Ministry of Energy and adviced his constituents to make good use of it. He elaborated that lightening up the constituency is going to create a safe environment especially during the night.
Ghanaian Blogger BoatengAmeyaw1 took the opportunity to ask the Minister about updates regarding COVID-19 and the Honorable responded categorically that the government is doing everything in its capacity to suppress the spread. Dr. Adutwum ended by advising the masses to help stop the spread by washing our hands regularly and using nose masks in public places.
